E1 Team Miami, powered by MAGNUS, heads to Croatia this week (12-13 June) for Round 3 of the 2026 UIM E1 World Championship, as the series arrives in Dubrovnik - one of its most visually striking venues.

Following the contrasting challenges of the opening two rounds in Jeddah and Lake Como, the Adriatic coastline presents a fresh test for teams and pilots alike. Set against the historic backdrop of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, the unpredictable sea conditions are expected to reward adaptability and race craft.

With margins at the front narrowing this season, every point on offer in Dubrovnik will prove crucial as the European leg of the season gathers momentum.

For Team Miami, the focus is on converting promising pace into consistent results after seventh and ninth place finishes in the first two rounds of the year. Encouraging signs shown in recent sessions underline the team’s potential, but the challenge in Croatia will be execution across the full race weekend.

With the alternating race format unique to E1, seamless handovers and communication between pilots can make the difference between podium contention and midfield frustration. Now that they have the experience of one race together, Timmy Hansen and Rianna O’Meara-Hunt will be looking to maximise every opportunity across Qualifying and the following Heats.

Steve Curtis, Team Principal: "After the first two rounds, we’ve seen clear progress in our performance, but now it’s about delivering consistency across every single Heat. The margins are incredibly tight this season, so execution, strategy, and clean racing will be key if we want to move up the standings. Dubrovnik can be a tricky course with the changing conditions, but we know what we need to do to make it through to the Finals."

Timmy Hansen: "The conditions in Dubrovnik are going to be a real challenge. It’s very wavy and rough here so it’s all about carrying the speed through those waves. We’ve shown that we have the pace, so for us it’s about putting everything together when it counts. The goal is to stay sharp through Qualifying and give us the best possible position heading into race day on Saturday. I’m sure a good result is very close after all the effort we have put in."

Rianna O’Meara-Hunt: "I’m really excited to be racing in Dubrovnik, but I’ve got some catching up to do as one of the few pilots that didn’t race here last season. As a team, we’ve learned a lot from the last round at Lake Como. Now it’s about building on that and making sure we maximise every session. If we execute well, we know we can be competitive."

Off the water, the Dubrovnik GP promises a standout atmosphere. The Croatian venue combines a passionate local crowd with a spectacular harbour setting, delivering one of the most distinctive stops on the calendar.

Blending cutting-edge electric marine technology with a UNESCO World Heritage backdrop, the event captures the essence of E1’s mission - bringing sustainable innovation to some of the world’s most spectacular coastal locations.

With the European leg of the season well underway and the championship battle intensifying, Team Miami returns to Dubrovnik with greater experience, renewed focus, and clear ambition to move further up the order.
