Team Miami raced exceptionally well in the opening weekend of the E1 UIM World Championship first round of Season 2. Supported by a brand new Operations Team, Team Miami felt strong and confident going into Qualifying on Friday in Jeddah. The team used all the new timing data and insights obtained from our Official Testing to secure a really admirable qualifying position of P4.

E1 Lake Como proved to be one of the most stunning race locations of the season, with the beautiful Villa D’Este Hotel as the perfect backdrop for high-speed action on the water. The weather was perfect, and competition was fierce, we were joined by our partners Azimut Yachts and Z Point One to cheer the team on.

It wasn’t the result Team Miami hoped for in Monaco but the team still achieved valuable points for the championship. Despite finishing in 6th position after technical difficulties meant a DNS (Did Not Start) in a pivotal race, the team still secured enough points across the weekend to remain in 2nd place in the championship standings, with rivals Team Brady back at the top spot.
