Drama and High Action in Lake Como
E1 Lake Como proved to be one of the most stunning race locations of the season, with the beautiful Villa D’Este Hotel as the perfect backdrop for high-speed action on the water. The weather was perfect, and competition was fierce, we were joined by our partners Azimut Yachts and Z Point One to cheer the team on.
Despite a strong start with Team Miami finishing 3rd in Qualifying, we suffered a high drama set back in the Semi Finals when Anna dramatically made contact with a Smart Mark. Despite a valiant come-back effort from Erik, we didn’t secure the points to progress to the final for this race. Thankfully our efforts across the season still leave us 3rd in the Championship Standings and the Smart Mark made a full recovery.
